“Cheap Plastic Night Lights?!?”

To be honest, it would be nice to make a few dollars from my comic strips and graphics here, but it sure wouldn’t be from anything like a cheap “Laser Eyes Jesus Security Night Lights”!

That was just put into the comic strip to show he has a heart even though he’s just a broken man, and also to show that sometimes what we see as an undesirable thing in ourselves can be used by God in an unexpectedly good way.

One of the reasons for doing “The Lloyd Servant Show” comic strips has been to remind myself that even though these graphics and posts do take time, they also help me tremendously to focus on God, on Jesus Christ, and on His Gospel. Those things should always be FREE since eternal life in Jesus is a FREE GIFT.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Some of the people I know have pages on Patreon.com to share their artwork and to gather support from fans and admirers. I’ve done a few experiments to see how it works, but still want to make sure that anything that might potentially help someone remains FREE. So that’s still something to figure out.

I have thought about coffee mugs though. Maybe with a comic strip frame or two printed on them that could be used to open up a conversation in a way similar to how most of these posts here do by asking, “So what do you think?” It seems like an approach to sharing that may feel more comfortable for some people.

Anyway, I’m working on the February “Comic Digest” and should have that available here very soon! It’s a compilation of all the comic strips and graphics posted during February in one easy to use PDF! And it’s FREE!

  1. I really like the idea of coffee mugs. Yes, the gospel is free, but as Jesus said, “The worker is worthy of his wages.” I donate to programs that help me and that i know are doing good. Daily Audio Bible is one.

Ive been very sick the past 24 hrs. I had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. Im finally a bit better. Cant write a blog post yet.
